+ - Business Development / Partnership Manager / Executive

Job roles and responsibilities

The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Manager/Executive are:

  1. Acquire, onboard and grow a slate of strong merchants and business partners and      build up a steady pipeline of new business
  2. Drive revenue growth, helping partners      achieve their own business goals simultaneously
  3. Own and project manage the onboarding process for new partners from contractual negotiations, technical integrations, go-live implementation and account growth.
  4. Possess in-depth knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company as well the company’s short and long term goals to ensure key targets are achieved
  5. Work with the marketing team to drive monthly active usage at acquired merchants through end-to-end implementation and execution of marketing campaigns
  6. Adhere to company procedures for acquisition and onboarding of partners, acting with integrity and in the best interests of the company in all your dealings

Desired Competencies:

1. Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant experience (merchant acquiring role is preferred)

  1. Highly resourceful, motivated, go-getter, don’t easily take “no” for an answer
  2. Superb interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
  3. Able to perform in fast-paced environment with focus on generating results
  4. Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
  5. Experience in both B2B and B2C environments would be advantageous

+ - Head of Partnership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management.
  • Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits.
  • Research partners, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships.
  • Negotiate and finalise deals in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies.
  • Represent our brand well and deliver a great experience to our partners.
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships.
  • Keep a great ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership.

We Are Looking For:

  • Highly resourceful, motivated and a go-getter with superb interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, and previous experience working with customers, partners or vendors in China.
  • At least 5 years experience in a customer facing role, of which a minimum of 3 years is in C-level facing roles.
  • Experience in the internet or digital industry, preferably in B2C roles.
